LIEN LAW

Whether you need to place a lien on an owner's property to obtain payment, or defend against a lien that has been placed on your property or funds, it is critical that your lien rights are protected from the earliest possible moment by someone who knows the nuances of federal, state, and private lien laws. This is particularly true where, as in North Carolina, liens cannot be amended once the statutory time limitations period has expired.

We are sensitive to the fact that the best - and least expensive - way to resolve legal issues is to identify and address them as soon as they arise. Given that most issues need to be resolved in "real time," we will work quickly with you to identify your legal issue, develop practical options, and attempt to resolve the issue short of litigation. We are, of course, available to represent you in the event litigation becomes necessary.
